Fruityful Day

Even though I think my soul died a bit today. But never mind. Today is my day off, so I thought I’d do the second part of my errands. I woke up at 2pm today (whoo!) and decided that I need to finally go to the bank to transfer some money. The bank closes at 4.15 today, so I thought I should get there at least by 3.30. Should be easy right? Not when you’re me! Between waking up and leaving the house, took me about one hour and a half. I reached the bank at exactly 3.30pm – without eating. I only managed to scarf down two Viennese cookies after showering. It was pretty quick though. The last time I went to the bank is because I had to make a new ATM card and the previous two times before the last one, was for the same reason but without my mykad, as I was recently relieved off my wallets. Long story.

Anyway, after that I had lunch – where to go? – of course Pavilion! That’s my kitchen. I was craving for nachos and was pleasantly surprised that there is the same stall that sells nachos here in Pavilion as the one in KLCC! What’s funny was, I saw the nachos behind the counter of Little Taiwan so I asked the girls there where they got it. They pointed to the stall behind them. After that, after I sat down with my food (nachos included), someone else passed by and asked where did I get them! Hahahaha! Obviously people don’t know about the nachos!
While I was sitting down to eat, I turned on my phone and its faulty sim card and found that I had 3 missed calls from MPH. I tried calling back but my sim card hated me and kept cutting my line. After lunch I still had plenty of time before Maghrib so I thought I’d finally buy those stupid ink cartridges that kept giving me warnings about their impending dooms. So I made my way to Sg. Wang. And bought the damn ink cartridges.

And because my SIM card kept dying, I bought a new one.

Yes, Digi. I was too lazy to take a pic of my sim card so I just googled a digi image. I am not doing it any free or paid advertising. I always buy my temporary sim cards as Digi. So while I was on an sms-ing spree, telling everyone about my new number, I got fed up with the faulty buttons on my phone and thought, what the hell – let me just buy a new phone!

And so I did.

I name it NordKitten – after my laptop –NordKatten, meaning Nordic Cat hehehe.
Cameo.

It’s a Walkman W100i Spiro phone for RM250. Cute, cheap, good brand, reputable seller – what more do you need? Well, how about some accessories? Not so easy. For both case and screen protector, every seller nowadays are selling only for ; iphone, blackberry, galaxy or any variations of smartphones therefore. Gone are the days of the buttons. So I just bought a sock for it.

I wanna see how this one goes before I decide to buy anotherone which is crocheted, colorful and slightly longer, able to cover the whole phone. Because swiping your card takes some of your soul, therefore it needs some nourishment after that.

Nothing a Subway sandwich can’t fix!

I’m still keeping it for later though, since I just had a big late lunch. I also stumbled onto my neighbor who is recently married and thought I should finally give him his wedding gift. Just to be neighborly. But sighs, I still have some chores to do – clear up my desk, hang my laundry, fold my laundry and take out the trash.

((5 hours gap where I went to my neighbour’s house, hung out and had dinner. I have nice enighbours))

Forget all those things. I need to shower!

Saturday Blues

Is there such a thing? Saturday should be a good day isn't it?

This sem, I have a three day weekend. I got the same previous sem, only that I have Monday off. This sem its Friday.

I normally do not like to go out on Fridays. For neccesities I mean, like food and stuff. I prefer to go out Saturday because I am reeling in from the schoolweek on Fridays. I have incompetent and bias and racist lecturers which made me bear the brunt of their mood swings. I know I am hot and competent and so far superior in intelligence compared to them, but don't blame me. They are the teachers. I'm just a student.

I've been going out on Saturdays these last two weeks to catch up on some movies. I have missed so much movies. I almost missed Horton. Glad I finally caught it on its final week! Next I wanna watch Ironman and Kung Fu Panda! Today I managed to catch 27 Dresses, and it was awesome...

Daddyo is coming on Monday and tomorrow Totchi leaves for Singapore. She'll be in KL next weekend whee! Finally there's someone who wants to go on an outing with me T_T.

Daddyo coming means I have to clean house tomorrow. I no likey clean house. I may also have to go out for food again tomorrow since as of yesterday our gas has been cut...coz we haven't been paying the bills xD. It's more like...we don't know how to pay.

Anyway, Totchi and I started a fangirls bashing blog called Bitches pwns Morons. This is a formal way to fight back against those stupid fangirls.

By the way, I wrote a summary on Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony. Please visit and give me a 5 star rating. Thank you XD.

Domestic Chores

Regardless of how many times I do them, I still hate them. But yesterday couldn't have come any earlier. I was determined to clean the house you see, cause it was...overdue. And my socks have been soaking in the pail with soap water for a good two days now. So...yeah XD.

The night before I even thought of making a to-do list but forgot. But whatever it is, I couldn't miss what's glaring at me could I?

I started the day with 2, 20-minute exercise, so a full 40 minutes in total. Then I rearrange my bookshelf. I finally added in the comics that were still in plastic bags xD. I really need to remember to read them. The problem is that, after reading so much English mangas, I find it odd reading them in Malay. And sides, the translation has been bastardized to the max.

After I was 80% done with bookshelf, I mvoed on to sweeping the floor. And you know you cannot sweep the floor without mopping them too. So I did that afterwards. After that it was already 4 pm so I need to shower, pray and eat. I made the rice beforehand hehehehe. I did laundry in-between and washed the socks after I took a break from lunch. I even pressed my dad's shirts (he has too many shirts!), pants and threw some more stuff into the washing machine. At the end of the day I even managed to study for today's test and watch TV.

Great eh?

However, despite my efforts to wake up early, the class today was canceled, which is a bummer. Because I had planned to go to Subway on the trip back. A new one had just opened at IOI Mall and I have been a frequent visitor. Who could resist their beef steak and roast beef sandwiches in one foot long parmesan oregano bread!??!

Well...since today's class was canceled, I thought I could do some workout to pass the time...but I remembered the intense workout I did yesterday. There is such a thing as a workout hangover where you will feel less energetic to do a workout with the same intensity as the day before. Then you end up being discouraged and bla bla bla.

Last night my friend wanted me to look at her resignation letter for the Youth Council (that's our version of the student council btw), but I couldn't go online. I thought my line was cut off cause I didn't pay the bills so I frantically called up my sister to pay it for me :D. Yes, my sister pays the bill. With my dad's credit card. XD.

The line is up today. I wonder if its because my sister has paid or last night's interruption was due to the thunderstorm. You know, when you live in a tropical country, every storm is a tropical storm. Before this I thought it was normal for other places to have thunderstorms as heavy as this, but turns out it's only as heavy in tropical countries like Malaysia. Which means, such violent storms are unheard of in Kenya and Norway.

Our semester exam is nearing and it doesn't hurt to prepare for the studies (note, not the exams). I am debating whether I should write my notes in pen or pencil. I always write my 'special notes' in pencil in high school. But lately I've become a sort of perfectionist and write them all in pen. The feeling is different. Though it's easier to read with pen.

Ah...dilemma, dilemma...
